As evidence of interest in older vintages, six magnums of Chateau Lafite Rothschild 1959 tied for top lot at a Christies sale in New York last month, fetching $58,800, while a case of Latour 1995 sold for 3,750 on Liv-ex on May 22, almost matching the 3,800 price for a similar case in December 2012.
