Japanese technology firm Fujitsu to launch cloud-based platform to track food supply

Fujitsu plans to market the service to larger firms such as wholesalers, food processors and restaurant chains. By March 2016, the company aims to enrol 200,000 customers and generate sales of $190m.
According to the company, it spent three years to study Japanese farming methods and markets using cloud computing, before launching the new platform.
