This week Tesco announced changes to its UK operations team in a move that reflects the changing priorities of the business away from big box retailing towards smaller proximity formats.
Tony Hoggett will move from his current role as MD for Tesco Extra to a new role of UK operations director. This will see him report to UK MD Chris Bush and will see him oversee the full breadth of Tesco's UK formats.
