Haryana state has so far procured 5.6 million tonnes of wheat across the state during the current procurement season.
The state has procured 5.55 million tonnes of wheat, whereas 1.35 million tonnes have been procured from traders, a spokesperson of the Food and Supplies department said.
He said that Haryana state Cooperative Society and Marketing Federation (HAFED) has purchased highest 2.05 million tonnes of wheat followed by 1.58 million tonnes purchased by Food and Supplies department.
