ISA Outbreak Confirmed on Norwegian Salmon Farm

An outbreak of Infectious Salmon Anaemia (ISA) has been confirmed on a salmon farm in B, Nordland.

Of the 659,881 salmon susceptible at the site, 4783 cases were confirmed.

The virus is thought to have spread from a neighbour location.

From an epidemiological point of view, the Norwegian Food Safety Authority considers the ISA outbreak at Skatleia to be a reoccurrence.
