FDA Approves Expanded Use of Spirulina Extract in Food & Beverages

The United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recently approved GNTs Color Additive Petition (CAP) 2C0297, greatly expanding the use of Spirulina Extract as a natural blue colouring ingredient in food and beverage applications.
