Indian sugar production down seven per cent in last year

lowed by Maharashtra which produced only 7.1 million tonnes of sugar, as against 7.7 million tonnes, whereas Andhra Pradesh state produced 0.94 million tonnes of sugar as against 0.96 million tonnes recorded in the same period last year.
