Tetra Pak Cheese and Powder Systems, Inc. and Wisconsin-based Cheese Systems Inc. (CSI) today jointly announced a settlement agreement for infringements by CSI of a Tetra Pak-patented cheese vat technology.
Under the terms of the settlement, CSI will compensate Tetra Pak $2 million for damages related to its infringement of Tetra Paks U.S. Patent No. 5,985,347. CSI has also acknowledged the validity of the Tetra Pak patent and has agreed to refrain from making, using, selling, offering to sell,
