Cermaq has announced it was awarded five of the 15 new green licenses in Norway.
There were a total of 72 bid in the category, group B, and the 15 highest bids were between NOK 55 million (USD 6.2 million, EUR 6.7 million) and NOK 66 million (USD 11 million, EUR 8 million). Cermaqs bid prices were NOK 63 million (USD 10.5 million, EUR 7.6 million) for three licenses and NOK 55 million for two licenses.
