Growth across the Perdue Foods family of brands has the company and its cold-storage partner, Americold, making plans to expand a temperature-controlled facility in Leesport, Pa.
In a joint statement, Americold and Perdue announced that a 96,000-sq.-ft. expansion is underway at the Leesport facility which provides more than 2.3 million cubic feet of cold storage space dedicated to Perdue Foods business. The new facility will handle products preciously distributed from Perdue's Georgetown, Del.
