US-based food brand Amys Kitchen will establish a new organic food manufacturing plant in Goshen, Orange County, New York with an investment of $100m, a move which will create about 700 jobs.
Work on the 500,000ft plant, which is expected to go onstream by 2016-end, will start early next year.
Amy's Kitchen owner Andy Berliner said, The potential to source so many of our agricultural ingredients close to the plant was another important factor in our decision.
