Private equity investor Blackthorne Partners has partnered with business executive Ross Lund to buy food processing equipment manufacturer Hughes Equipment.
The financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
Established in 1961, Hughes Equipment provides standard and customized equipment for vegetable, pasta, rice, fruit and root crop processing, and preparation.
The company will continue to operate from its 60,000ft plant in Columbus, Wisconsin.
Lund has assumed the role of pre
