Compared to the same month last year, pork exports during February were down 10 per cent in volume and 11 per cent in US$-value.
The latest figures from ABIPECS reveal that Brazil exported 36,940 tons of pork in February, 10.0 per cent less than the 41,048 tons in the same month last year.
The value of pork exported during February was US$96.5 million, down 11.1 per cent compared to the same month in 2013, where the figure stood at $108.6 million.
