Regarding the Russian vegetable market, experts pointed to two trends. On one hand, several domestic crops had bad seasons, and a lack of domestic production had to be substituted by increased import. On the other hand, import volumes of 2013 were affected by quarantine restrictions applied to imported vegetables from several countries. Thus, despite the lack of potatoes in the mark
