The company stated that the political issues in Syria had an impact on its revenues, and it lost a multi-product facility in 2013.

Nestl estimates that since start of the Syrian crisis, it had lost about $150m in sales.

According to the newspaper, Saudi Arabia is currently Nestl's largest market accounting for 35% sales volume, followed by the UAE, Lebanon, Jordan and Kuwait.
