The commitment was given during a recent meeting between Indonesias President Soesilo Bambang Yudhoyono and ANZ Group CEO Michael Smith.
Indonesias Minister of Economics Hatta Radjasa said:Indonesia needs investments in the sector of beef cattle farming. And ANZ has shown its interest and promised to do the financing for beef cattle.
According to Smith, ANZ Group would support economic growth in Indonesia.We are not only focused on infrastructure, but also on agriculture,he said.
