Hormel Foods to expand manufacturing plant in Iowa

Hormel Foods is set to expand its manufacturing facility in Dubuque, Iowa to include production of its Spam brand products.

The project is part of a $31m expansion, which is expected to create over 90 jobs in the region, reported the Telegraph Herald.

The company currently makes Spam brand products at its sites in Fremont, Nebraska, and Austin, Minnesota.

Hormel is expected to finalize a deal with the local officials in the coming days.
