Penford adds white corn protein ingredient to portfolio

Penford Food Ingredients has launched PenDure CW, a non-bioengineered white corn protein ingredient. It contains a minimum of 50% protein and has been shown to enrich low-moisture foods. Potential applications include baked foods, cereal, breakfast and nutrition bars, gluten-free products, snacks and tortillas.
