The investment is a part of company's strategy to invest $176m to boost seed-production capacity in Argentina.
In November 2011, Syngenta received approval from Argentine authorities to sell a new strain of genetically modified corn seeds for 2012-13 season. The company employs 26,000 people in over 90 countries globally.
