Olam Spices Vegetable Ingredients (Olam SVI) has expanded its spices processing facility in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
The 85,300ft plant enhances cleaning and storage processes for black pepper as well as adds capabilities to process cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg products.
The expansion work includes addition of advanced technologies such as cryogenic milling using liquid nitrogen, a pepper cleaning line, a plant HTST steam sterilization and pasteurization system, and new pepper milling lines.
