U.S. EPA Establishes Exemption for Copper Sulfate

On December 27, the U.S. EPA established an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance for residues of copper sulfate pentahydrate when applied to various food contact surfaces. This regulation eliminates the need to establish an MRL for this active ingredient.
