USDA lifts sanctions on Martinez Fresh Produce

Martinez Fresh Produce LLC has satisfied a reparation order and can now operate in the produce industry, according to a news release from the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

Dallas-based Martinez Fresh Produce was sanctioned under the Perishable Agricultural Commodities Act in July for failing to settle its debt to a Texas seller.

The companys responsibly connected principal Arturo Martinez Isguerra also may now work in the industry.
