FSA launches campaign to eliminate contaminated milk in Northern Ireland

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) in Northern Ireland has launched a campaign to keep contaminated milk out of the supply.

The agency conveyed 'Protect your milk supply' message to dairy farmers, urging them to keep contaminated milk out of their bulk tank.

In the recent years, a number of incidents were linked to contamination of the milk supply with milk from TB reactor animals and veterinary medicinal residues, resulting in product contamination and withdrawal from the market, the agency note
