Argentine supermarket sales grew by 18.4% in October

According to the Government, supermarket sales in Argentina grew by 18.4 percent, year on year, in October at seasonally adjusted constant prices.

The report from the National Institute of Statistics and Census (INDEC) also stated that sales were up by 2.7 percent from September, also on seasonally adjusted prices.

Sales at current prices, which reflect the impact of inflation in the country, estimated by private analysts to be at an annual 25 percent, grew by 27.4 percent, up to 11,555.6 mill
