Global foodservice retailer McDonald's has outlined plans to open nearly 1,500 to 1,600 new restaurants in 2014, as part of its new strategic plan Plan to Win, and to broaden its brand presence.
The company has earmarked around $2.9bn to $3bn for store openings and 1,000 reimages. McDonald's is also looking to optimize the menu and modernize customer experience.
