Dropping of tariffs to Taiwan great chance for NZ cherries

The New Zealand cherry season is gearing up and the first exports from the Central Otago region will start 12-15th December. This coincides nicely with the dropping of tariffs to the Taiwan market.


Craig Hall from RD8 said, The dropping of tariffs to Taiwan will give New Zealand a chance to be more competitive in a very important market for NZ cherry Industry.

This has been on the radar for while now. RD8 currently export 80MT to Taiwan, this could increase now but it will depend a lot on dem
