Tesco Falls Behind Aldi, Dunnes and Lidl On Irish Market

Tesco have suffered a slump on its Irish market share in the 12 weeks to November 10. The supermarket giant has witnessed a 6% drop in sales leading to a 1.5% decline in its share of the multibillion Irish grocery market.

Kantar Worldpanel have revealed that Tesco are currently being outperformed by competitors Dunnes Stores, Lidl and Aldi.

While Tesco still has the largest market share, Irish supermarket Dunnes Stores are rapidly catching up, growing its share to 23.6%, while Tesco's fell to
