Lidl plans to invest in Finninsh supermarkets in 2014

German discounter grocer Lidl has revealed its plans to invest over 100 million in its Finnishsupermarketsin 2014, as it looks to capitalise on its growth in the country over the past few years.

This week Finnish daily business paper Kauppalehti reported that Lidl is understood to be investing 100 million. The Kauppalehti article failed to speak to any representative from Lidl about the move, but the story has also been covered by IGD.
