Chinese market determines if there is enough cherry for UK/Europe

The UK cherry season is now over and according to Jon Clark from Total Cherry it was a good, successful season with tonnages up over 100% on the previous year.

The season was later and longer, with excellent quality fruit which kept demand ahead of supply all season long even during the peak weeks there are some excellent varieties grown in the UK with the biggest demand coming for the delicious Kordia variety.
