Flevofruit from Biddinghuizen is currently testing a new sorting machine for Confrence pears. The brothers Roel and Wyno Vermeulen have chosen the French machine builder MAF Roda, who used a similar machine for sorting carrots - the machine is specifically designed for oblong products - but Flevofruit has the first one for fruit.
