Nofima increases cod research efforts

Nofima, Norways food research institute, has announced it is increasing its research efforts for the cod industry.

In recent years our scientists have made major progress in the areas of both catch handling and capture-based aquaculture of cod. With increased funding we will be able to produce even more research results that will benefit the entire industry, said yvind Filling-Jensen, managing director.

Intensive research efforts are also being made in the area of catch handling.
