The Almerian company, Agrieco, dedicated to, for the most part, tomatoes and watermelons and head quartered in Pendant, ceased doing business last July and, therefore, was shut-down later that month. Furthermore, it appears that the SAT, which is part of Unica Group, still has to pay 500,000 Euro to twenty collaborating growers for the processing of produce over the last season.
Agrieco was created in 2004 and since 2009 has been part of the Unica Group cooperative. The news, reported by La Voz
