Cucumber market under pressure from Spanish supply

At the moment the situation on the cucumber market is not so great. Prices are presently around 25 cent for size 40 and 18 cent for size 35. It is quite positive but we have difficulty with the Spanish supply. Rainy weather has also not helped with sales, explained the trader. Until mid November there will be plenty of Dutch cucumbers available.
