Grains, oilseeds sink on rain, yields; equities tumble

Corn, wheat and soy complex futures declined Friday as beneficial rainfall soaked much of the Corn Belt and winter wheat growing region, which could benefit the late-developing soybean crop and improve winter wheat prospects. Talk of big corn yields also added pressured to prices. Chicago December wheat fell 10c, closing at $6.46 a bu, Kansas City December dropped 9c, closing at $6.92 a bu, and Minneapolis December lost 8c, closing at $6.99 a bu.
