New Zealand government to help exporters affected by Fonterra botulism scare

The New Zealand government on Wednesday announced it was organizing a high-level campaign to help New Zealand exporters who were adversely affected by the Fonterra botulism scare last month, particularly in the China market.

Trade Minister Tim Groser and Minister for Primary Industries Nathan Guy said they planned to reassert New Zealand's reputation in key markets following the reported potential contamination of Fonterra-produced whey protein concentrate.
