Practically 100% of Almeria's fruit and vegetable exports are shipped to other European countries (around 99.8%), and within the continent, the main destination is the European Union, which receives 97.2% of all vegetables and 97.4% of fruits.
According to official data provided by the Regional Delegation of Andalusia's Council of Agriculture, Fisheries and Environment for the period between January and June 2013, Germany is the main customer for Almeria's vegetables, with 29.8% of the total,
