NYC market warns of hepatitis A exposure

The New York City Health Department is urging some customers of a Westside Market here to get a hepatitis A vaccine after learning one of the retailers employees contracted the illness.

All customers who purchased fresh-cut fruit in-store, through catering or delivery from Aug. 9-22 may have been exposed to hepatitis A and should receive a vaccine as a precautionary measure, according to a statement from the Health Department.
