The outbreak of multistate Salmonella in US linked to hatchery

The outbreak of Salmonella Montevideo has led to least 66 cases of illness and 16 hospitalizations across 20 states in the country.
Epidemiological and laboratory evidence have linked this outbreak to Estes Hatchery in Springfield, Missouri. People who got sick reported having contact with chicks, ducklings and other live baby poultry sold at Estes Hatchery.
Illnesses onset dates range from 28 February to 6 June. However, infections that occurred after 29 May might not have been reported, which
