Pesticide residues found on Moroccan beans

A shipment of beans coming in from Morocco has been found to contain 0.087 mg/kg of the agent Dicofol. The allowable amount is 0.02 mg / kg. That is 4.35 times the maximum admissible quantity for this vegetable, according to the control system RASFF.

The authorities of Slovenia intercepted the shipment on August 14, when it came into the country through the Czech Republic. No further action was taken as the item was already removed from supermarket shelves.
