Milk production in the 23 major producing states totaled 15.7 billion lbs in July, up 1.2% from July 2012, the U.S. Department of Agriculture said in its latest Milk Production report.
Milk production for June was revised to 15.8 billion lbs, up 1.7% from June 2012 and an increase of 1 million lbs, or 0.1%, from last months preliminary production estimate.
