Monsanto has completed a $31 million expansion at its vegetable seed research headquarters in Woodland, Calif.
The expansion included a 90,000-square-foot laboratory and office building and makes the Woodland location the company's primary site for the molecular breeding of vegetable seeds, according to Monsanto's Beyond the Rows blog.
Mark Oppenhuizen, Woodland's strategy and operations lead, said the expansion would allow Monsanto to, maintain a close working relationship with our customers
