Chinese food prices remain stable

The price of meats remained basically stable showing only a slight increase, with the wholesale price of pork rising by one per cent as compared to the previous week.

Beef was up by 0.3 per cent, and lamb remained unchanged. The retail prices of chicken and eggs kept rising, up by 0.5 per cent and 0.6 per cent respectively compared to the previous week.

The average wholesale prices of eight kinds of aquatic products were up by 0.5 per cent compared to the previous week.
