Peru coffee production to decline 25% in 2013

Agriculture Minister Milton Von Hesse said that this year's coffee output will decline a 25% to 30%, a bit higher than previous estimates and the government will replace the crops of the farmers.

This is an opportunity to promote changes in the plantations, Von added.

National Coffee Chamber of Peru has projected that the country's coffee production will be six million quintals in 2013.
