June production of edible nonfat dry milk was 130,546,000 lbs, down 13% from May and down 23% from June 2012, the U.S. Department of Agriculture said in its latest Dairy Products report.
Manufacturers stocks of edible nonfat dry milk were 230,360,000 lbs, up slightly from 229,857,000 lbs in May and up 60% from June 2012. May shipments were 124,274,000 lbs, up 2% from May but down 47% from June 2012.
Output of skim milk powders was 58,217,000 lbs, up 6% from May and up 130% from June 2012.
