Brazil files WTO dispute against S. Africa

Brazil has formally taken action against South Africas use of antidumping policies against Brazilian poultry meat, according to a statement from the World Trade Organization (WTO).

Brazil requested consultations with South Africa under the WTOs dispute settlement system over South Africas allegations that Brazilian poultry was dumped in the South African market, damaging the countrys domestic poultry sales. South Africa imposed an anti-dumping duty of 62.93 percent on whole chickens, and 46.59
