LANXESS receives Canadian approval to use Velcorin in beverages

LANXESS, a Germany-based specialty chemicals company, has received approval for its Velcorin microbial control agent to use in water-based non-alcoholic beverages and wine in Canada.

Velcorin is currently used as a microbial control agent to control spoilage organisms in beverages across the world, including in the US, European Union, China and India.
