Coca-Cola invests $42.9m to expand Lehigh County plant

The Coca-Cola has invested $42.9m in its manufacturing plant in Upper Macungie Township, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania to add an additional 50,000ft to the existing 225,000ft manufacturing space.

This investment will see a hotfill line installation to produce non-carbonated soft drinks such as PowerAde, Vitaminwater and Fuze.

To be operational in 2014, the new investment will create 28 new jobs in the plant. The soft drink maker has also added additional equipment and training for new employees
