Fonterra is investing more than $100 million dollars in Waitoas new UHT milk processing site that will increase the co-operatives UHT production by 100% over the next few years. Products from the new plant will be bound for markets in Asia.
The site is expected to produce its first product in March 2014, with some positions becoming available from late 2013.
