Alhóndiga La Unión to launch tricolour long-life pepper line

Alhndiga La Unin expects to launch a new line of packaged tricolour peppers in October. The line makes use of micro-perforated tubs which keep the product's respiration under control, thereby extending their shelf life.

This has been achieved thanks to the culmination of a research project conducted by the Soil Science and Applied Biology Centre of the Segura (Murcia); an entity under the National Research Council (CSIC), for La Unin, called Project for the treatment and packing of courgettes,
