Fujitsu begins trials of low-potassium vegetable factory

Fujitsu, a leading Japanese information and communication technology (ICT) company, has announced the start of field trials for the production of low-potassium vegetables.

Through this field trials, the company plans to produce cultivate low-potassium leaf lettuce that can meet the nutritional demands of people who require low-potassium vegetables, including those with chronic kidney disease as well as dialysis patients.

The trials will be conducted at plant factory, which will have 2,000m2
